Meet Your Art Teacher...

Picture

I am so honored to be the art teacher at Ballou High School.  It is my personal and professional goal to have every student desire to be in my classroom. No empty chairs in my art room!
I believe that art instruction should focus on the uniqueness of the individual student. My art classroom provides an environment  which assures that each student experiences success in the learning process through a non-competitive atmosphere where individual creativity is encouraged and students are comfortable taking risks.

I also believe in setting high expectations so students are encouraged to perform at their peak. It is my promise to all my students that when you enter into my classroom you will feel that you are special and you will leave knowing that you can create art in ways that you never thought was possible. This I promise you.

To my students and parents:
It is my desire to make myself available at all times to my students and their parents. You may contact me through the contact page on this website. I am always in my classroom before and after school daily if you need to speak with me. Parents may call the front office to schedule an appointment to speak with me at any time.
