I am so proud of my students for participating in the "Aids Awareness Art Contest" with The World Aids Museum. I had to push them into participating because they were afraid of failure. Never be afraid to take a chance, the greatest failure is not to try! You will never know what you are capable of unless you put yourself out there and try. Sure enough I had two students win 2nd, and 3rd place. Viva won $200 for placing 2nd and Carlos won $100 for placing third. Words cannot express how proud I am of the both of you! Viva is using the money to buy a prom dress and Carlos is going to use the money for food. |
