We will be studying the art and life of Vincent Van Gogh. We will also paint in the style of Van Gogh for the purpose of "feeling" what it is like to paint with line movement, texture and color. Although we will look at many of his paintings, we will be focusing on Starry Night for our class assignment.
Flipped ClassroomThe Flipped Classroom is a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements are reversed. Short video lectures are viewed by students prior to class session, while in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions.
